Wilderness First Aid Course

The Wilderness and Remote First Aid (WRFA) course includes 16 hours of instruction; normally presented as a two-day course taught from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm each day.

WRFA instruction provides the first aid principles and skills to respond to emergencies and to give care in areas without immediate emergency medical services (EMS).  This includes wilderness and remote environments, as well as urban environments experiencing natural or man-made disasters.

This course is taking place at the Welch Trail Education Center in Harriman State Park. Overnight accomodations available.  Meals are not provided however, a full kitchen is available for use. You must be 16 or over to participate in this course and be 18 or over for overnight accomodations.

Because we are pleased to be able to offer these courses at a special rate, no further discounts apply.
