Shipping

Most shipments will go out in 2-3 business days on receipt of order. Orders are only processed on business days but you can order any time.

  • We take and fulfill orders from persons paying in US dollars within the United States only
  • We do not ship international packages
  • You must provide a valid email when ordering via rush delivery or regular delivery
  • Multiple Shipments: Shipments to more than 1 address need to be placed as separate orders and will be processed as such

Regular Deliveries:
Speed depends on distance. Mail takes longer to travel across the country than to travel across town.

  • P.O. Box addresses are delivered via U.S Mail
  • Books and Maps and other merchandise are shipped differently
    • Books are delivered Book Rate/Media Mail
      • Delivery is made in an average of 9-20 days
      • There is no guarantee for delivery date
    • Maps and other merchandise are delivered First Class
      • Delivery is made in an average of 2-10 days
      • There is no guarantee for delivery date

Rush Deliveries:

  • In a hurry? Call the orders department for fast delivery at 201-512-9348. We offer rush delivery via FedEX or UPS only if you contact us via phone!
  • Rush delivery requires a physical address for delivery (no PO Boxes)
  • Shipment price depends on zip code of receiver and weight of package
  • Order Status and Tracking - You will receive an email that confirms your order, tracking # and total amount.

  • What options do you have for rush delivery?
  • FedEx Home Delivery:
    • 1-5 business days to every address in 48 Contiguous States
    • Services: Tuesday-Saturday, from 9 am to 8 pm
    • You have the option of “FedEx Signature Home Delivery”
    • Use this option when you want FedEx to leave the package when a signature can be obtained from someone at the delivery address.
  • FedEx Ground Delivery:
    • 1-5 business days to every address in the Continental U.S.
    • Guaranteed 1 day delivery within a certain radius of New York City
  • FedEx Express: Should be used for time-sensitive shipments within the U.S.
    • Express Options: (Make sure to tell the Orders department if your package delivery is time sensitive)
      • Same Day
      • Overnight
      • 2-day
      • 3-day

Backorders

Publication that are currently out of stock or not-yet-available from the publisher will be marked with Backordered and include an expected in-stock date but these dates are largely out of our control and may vary.

Credit Card Orders:
If you order it with other publications, dues, or contributions, the available goods will be processed on receipt of order including shipping/handling fees appropriate to the partial fulfillment. When the backordered publication becomes available, it will be shipped and you will be charged at that time including shipping/handling for that item. Or you can request that the entire order be held until the backorder is available. Clearly mark this option in the memo section of the order form. Alternately (and recommended), we suggest that you place two separate orders, one for each backordered item and one for the rest of the available goods and services.

Pay by Check:
The entire order will be held until the goods are available at which point the check will be deposited and the goods shipped. Alternately (and recommended), we suggest that you place two separate orders, one for each backordered item and one for the rest of the available goods and services.

All:
Mail or internet, if we are delaying a shipment because of missing backordered goods, the customer will get a note saying that part of the order is backorder and will ship and be charged when available.
At this point, you will be given the opportunity to cancel backordered items.

Damaged/Missing merchandise

Damaged or missing items will be shipped at our cost.

Returns

  • Items must be returned within 30 days of the “ship date.”
  • Maps/Books must be returned unused & in re-sellable condition
  • Shipping and handling will not be refunded unless the NY-NJ Trail Conference shipped an incorrect item or a defective copy of a book or map was shipped.
  • Credit will be issued toward future purchase
  • A packing slip or sales receipt must be returned with the order
  • We are not responsible for shipment charges on changed or cancelled orders, if the change doesn’t happen within 2 days of order placement
