Minnewaska State Park Preserve and Mohonk Preserve do not offer rentals. Rentals may be obtained from a private outfitter in New Paltz. Mohonk Mountain House offers equipment primarily for resort guests, but rentals may be available to non-guests on less busy days; call ahead for information.
