The trail crew continues to work on the new section of Long Path that begins near Phoenicia, continues over Romer Mountain, Mount Pleasant and Cross Mountain, and will connect with the Burroughs Range Trail. On this trip we will be working on the section that rises from Cross Mountain to Wittenberg.
The purpose of this trip is to bring up additional supplies to our camp that we will be using for the August 15-20 six-day work trip. Also we will set up the camp.
In addition we are working both Saturday and Sunday and camping is available if you are interested in working both days. You must contact Andy Garrison (Trip Leader) if you plan participate. Working on either Saturday or Sunday is fine but you will need details from the leader. With that said, you must contact the leader if you plan to participate.
