NYNJTC Web Redesign project database now available at www.projjex.com

I've set everyone up as users, so you will be getting email from Projjex telling you how to get signed up and into the database.

 

I will be using it to track milestones and action items from our status meetings and to keep the overall project plan.  I am still working on populating some of the items, but feel free to navigate what's there and provide feedback on whether you find it understandable and helpful.

 

Help tips

Drupal has feature called help tips which allow you to put tips on any page or set of pages, e.g. the create hike page or the hike pages themselves. The create help is instructions for filling out the form. The hike help has instructions for interpreting the terms used, e.g. difficulty. Both are similar but have a different slant for a different audience.The help tips currently appear at the very bottom of the page (may want to try alternate locations).

Hike Database Technical Problems/Issues

This is a place to post problems with the hike database as they are encountered. I will delete listing when problem goes away. 

  • Editing function goes missing in some entries (seems to be those that have urls in the Web Map Url field).
  • Code displays in some of the Features Text fields (ex, see Bull Hill entry)
  • Uploading photos: need protocol/tool re sizes
