From the parking area, continue ahead on Snake Den Road, passing Boy Scout Lake on the left. You are following the red-on-white blazes of the Wyanokie Circular Trail, which continues through a residential area.

At the end of the residential area, follow the red-and-white blazes as they bear left, leaving the road, and continue on a footpath. Soon, the trail crosses a stream and begins...

Directions have been revised
You are certainly correct in saying that you should take the second left onto Snake Den Road, not the first left. The directions given above did indicate that that is what you should do, but they have now been revised to make it even clearer that, coming from the east, you should take the second left onto Snake Den Road.

Buck Mountain Loop from Camp Wyanokie
The directions for getting to the trailhead are confusing. I previously did a hike from Weis Ecology Center and had made a left onto Snake Den Road, so I was familiar with that route.  But to get to Camp Wyanokie, you need to make a left onto the second Snake Den Road.  The first one is shown on the map as Snake Den Road East, but not so marked on the street sign. The second one is shown on the map as Snake Den Road West on the map, but not on the street sign.  I saw the map on a kiosk at the end of Snake Den Road East.  We drove around for 25 minutes before getting to Camp Wyanokie.  So the directions should state "Take the second left for Snake Den Road, not the first."
