Old Business:

1. Subteam status reports

* Office status (Josh)

"All hunky dory!"

* Google Analytics and Theming (Doug)

• Discuss Doug's suggestions for URL color and content density on panel pages. Wait until we have a test site to try out URL color alternatives.

* Business model (Ann)

• Engaging volunteers ... we have several in the wings right now: Tina Nixon, Jim Gahler, James Starbin, Sean Zinsley, Robert Gulick, William Roehrig (Ann to target 12/15 as date.)
• 2010 Web plan

o Content: plan for long distance trails (each trail a major project; Walt started on Long Path but no one to pick up the work. Possibility for summer intern? Problem is defining what we want done and documenting in a user guide. Provide downloadable hike maps and elevations? Jeremy to write up how to do Google maps. WW maps were farmed out at $100/map. Adding GPS track to contour lines is not hard. Labelling takes forever. From old site: old trails page - migrate info, updating what needs updating and eliminating obsolete stuff. Store policies and procedures updated and moved to new site.
o Ann to have 2010 plan laid out in time for Jan. board meeting.

• What is our plan to replace Trellon, migrate to Drupal 6 - Ed concerned.

* Content (Georgette)

• Current activities
o Lee Draper - new East Hudson rep - Georgette to train her in what's on site and how to use it.
o Phil about to disappear from this area for the winter but will still be online.
o GW away Fri - Wed.
• Photos in Parks database - status.
• Fees field updates in Parks database - status.
• About 30 parks need to change from /content to /park.
• Member clubs page has a number of broken links.

* Technology (Walt)

-- Drupal 6 - nail down the process for migration. Identify loose ends to clean up in 5 before going to 6.
Applied some security updates. Ubercart update pending ... seeking advice from Trellon whether their fixes are in 1.8 or 1.9
-- Store issues: Ubercart membership process - expiration date processing.
-- ebase fields to push to the Web site; synchronization plan ... try to meet with Catherine to work on this.

I have seen no comments on the email I sent. It looks like more memory would give us better performance and prevent some crashes. Downside $20/month is a ripoff as that is about the total cost of a 1Gb chip.
