THIS IS A THREE DAY OUTING. Each day, the crew will be on the trail from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
We will be working on an 0.2 mile relocation of the AT on the SW shoulder of Bear Mountain. The work will involve using heavy hand tools and some rigging with a high line, cable and rope work. We will be moving stone, and building steps and cribbing. We will provide full instruction. The work-site is within 0.1 miles from the road and within 0.2 miles of the parking area, providing easy access.
MANDATORY: Bring water, workgloves, and lunch. Complete and mail a *completed Volunteer Service Agreement.* prior to the work day.
RECOMMENDED: Safety glasses are recommended, but not required.
