Hiker Portraits: Art Exhibition Submission Page

The New York-New Jersey Trail Conference is accepting submissions of artwork, starting September 1st, for a group exhibition depicting Hiker Portraits.

Works done in all two dimensional media will be considered, including photography. The exhibition is scheduled to run from January 8 to March 5, 2018 at the NY-NJ Headquarters, 600 Ramapo Valley Road, Mahwah, NJ.

Submission Deadline: Tuesday, November 28th

After you submit, you will receive a confirmation email that your submission has been received. Notification of acceptance will be emailed after December 5, 2017. Accepted artwork must be delivered to the Trail Conference during business hours on January 2, 3, and 4. We are sorry, but we do not have the capability to handle shipped artwork.

Accepted works may be offered for sale. The NY-NJ Trail Conference Art Gallery, while new, has a respectable record of sales that has been increasing with each show. 20% of any sale, along with the show entry fee, will benefit the excellent work and programs of the Trail Conference. The show will be juried and award ribbons and certificates will be announced and presented at the January 11, 2018 opening reception. Unsold artwork must be picked up between March 6 and March 9.

Applicants may submit digitally 1 to 3 images for consideration using the form below. All images must be submitted in JPEG, GIF or PNG format and RGB color mode. Maximum file size: 10.0 MB per image.  Digital file submissions should include the name of artist and title of work (artistname_artworktitle.jpg) so they can be easily identified. Deadline for submissions is April 17.
