Winging It! Art Exhibition Call for Entries

The New York-New Jersey Trail Conference will accept submissions of artwork, starting March 1st, for a group exhibition depicting birds and bugs.

Works done in all two dimensional media will be considered, including photography. The exhibition, at Trail Conference Headquarters, 600 Ramapo Valley Road, Mahwah, NJ, will run from June 7 to August 28, 2018.

Each artist may submit digital images of up to three artworks for an entry fee of $15. Non-members will pay an entry fee of $25. Work must be framed and ready for hanging. 

Submission Deadline: Monday, April 16th

After you submit, you will receive a confirmation email that your submission has been received. Notification of results will be emailed after April 20, 2017. Accepted artwork must be delivered to the Trail Conference during business hours between Monday, June 4 through Wednesday, June 6. We are sorry, but we do not have the capability to handle shipped artwork.

Accepted works may be offered for sale. 20% of any sale, along with the show entry fee, will benefit the excellent work and programs of the Trail Conference. The show will be juried and award ribbons and certificates will be announced and presented at the June 28 opening reception. Our generous corporate sponsors, Dick Blick Art Materials of Paramus. and Wild Birds Unlimited of Paramus, will be providing the prizes. Unsold artwork must be picked up between September 29 and October 3.

Applicants may submit digitally 1 to 3 images for consideration using the form below. All images must be submitted in JPEG, GIF or PNG format and RGB color mode. Maximum file size: 10.0 MB per image.  Digital file submissions should include the name of artist and title of work (artistname_artworktitle.jpg) so they can be easily identified. Deadline for submissions is April 16.
