Project/Trail Location:

Contact name:

Project Description:

We will meet at the big rock (yellow trail head) on Crescent Drive in Ringwood, NJ. Expect to walk in about 2 miles before we do any trail work. We will work until about 4pm.

The Mountain Pinks are basically a light trail crew. Blazing, clipping, small blowdowns, clearing brush, raking, maybe some occasional work with side hilling. It's a great crew for someone who wants to see what it is like to be a maintainer.

Bring: sturdy shoes, work gloves, drink and lunch

Bring if you have them: clippers, loppers, bow saw

Extra tools will be provided.

No experience necessary. On-the-job training will be provided. The duties of the group will range with the group's experience. Experienced trail workers will handle bigger blowdowns. We will clear the trail of brush and small blowdowns and relocate/reblaze the trail as necessary.

RSVP's not necessary but are helpful to determine the number of tools needed.
