This is an example hike map.  The route of the hike is highlighted in yellow, the map is a snippet of our published map with some additional items (hike title and condensed legend), and it is sized for 8.5x11 printing.  As a GeoPDF, Analysis tools in Adobe Acrobat or Reader can be used to pinpoint coordinates or measure distances/areas.  In addition, this GeoPDF can be used in the 'PDF Maps' app by Avenza (available at the moment only for iOS, with plans underway for an Android version and others), which allows one to use the GPS capabilities of an iPad/iPhone to follow along with the map.
