Habitat Helpers Crew
Several volunteers kneeling and weeding the gardens behind the stone wall

Meeting Place:

Trail Conference Headquarters at the Darlington Schoolhouse, and occassionally at local parks

Work Days:

Sunday

Frequency:

Once or twice a month

We work in the native plant landscape at the Trail Conference headquarters to maintain the plantings, plant new plants, and remove weeds and invasive plants.

This crew is led by members of the Bergen-Passaic chapter of the Native Plant Society of New Jersey. Native plant society members volunteer their time in exchange for meeting space at the Trail Conference headquarters for their monthly meetings.

Bergen County Master Gardeners can count their volunteer time for their community service requirements.
