The historic Darlington Schoolhouse in Mahwah will not be turned into a parking lot, razed for luxury condominiums or transformed into a multilevel mall. By the end of 2012, if all goes according to plan, the building will continue its original purpose as a center for education, this time of the outdoor variety.
