The Hoeferlin Library, located at the Trail Conference office, houses over 1,200 titles focused on hiking, backpacking, trails, and nature. While our collection emphasizes the Northeast, it also includes guides from across the country and around the world. This library is exclusively for Trail Conference members and can be explored during office hours.

Borrowing Guidelines
- Books and videos can be borrowed for two weeks.
- Limit of two items per member at a time.
- Lost items will incur the replacement cost plus a $10 fee.
- To borrow by mail, call us at 201.512.9348 to check availability and arrange shipping.
- Return items via UPS, insured mail, or by visiting our office.
