The Hoeferlin Library
Discover the Hoeferlin Library, located at the Trail Conference office. The collection includes books on hiking, backpacking, trails, and ones written or published by Trail Conference members. The library is exclusively for Trail Conference members and can be explored during office hours.
To see if the library has a specific book, click on the button below. Then type the title, author, or subject (like “Appalachian Trail”) into the search bar. If a match appears, the book is in our collection. You can then learn more about it or have enough information to purchase the title from a third party.
Borrowing Guidelines
- Books and videos can be borrowed for two weeks.
- Limit of two items per member at a time.
- Lost items will incur the replacement cost plus a $10 fee.
- To borrow by mail, call us at 201.512.9348 to check availability and arrange shipping.
- Return items via UPS, insured mail, or by visiting our office.
