Work Days: May run any day

Frequency: As needed, year-round.

About the Crew

The Yorktown Trail Crew is a flexible, pick-up crew that takes on trail building and repair projects as needed. We invite anyone interested in contributing to:

  • Construction Projects: Building boardwalks, bridges, puncheon, and rehabilitating trails
  • Flexible Work Trips: Projects can range from single trips to multiple sessions or smaller tasks for 2-3 people

To volunteer, contact us at [email protected], and we’ll connect you with a crew leader. Bring water, lunch, work gloves, and friends. We provide the tools and have tasks for all levels of experience.

We especially welcome youth, corporate, and church service projects and work with organizations like the Westchester Trail Tramps, Westchester Mountain Biking Association, and Boy Scout Eagle Projects. For Eagle Projects, we may provide technical supervision as needed. All leaders for youth projects are background-checked for safety.

Get Involved

For all trips bring work gloves, plenty of water, and a lunch you can eat on the trails. To volunteer with the crew, visit our Events Page.
