Want your summer to rock? Join the Trail Conference Conservation Corps!

The Trail Conference is thrilled to announce that we’re now accepting applications for the 2026 Corps season.

As a Conservation Corps member, you’ll gain hands-on experience caring for one of the nation’s most iconic trail networks—building skills, protecting ecosystems, and leaving a lasting positive impact on the landscape. Our Corps members receive top-notch training, lodging, and a living stipend, among other program benefits. Opportunities span outdoor leadership, invasive species management, sustainable trail construction, volunteer engagement, and more.

Since 2012, our Corps members have logged thousands of hours on trail-building initiatives and native habitat restoration programs, safeguarding our trail lands and expanding access to nature as they transform into the next generation of environmental leaders.

For many, service in the Corps is a life-changing experience. Melanie Schuck, who served as a Hudson Valley Trail Steward in 2020 and 2021, put it this way:

“[My time in the Corps] put me on track to make my conservation dreams a reality, overcoming many personal challenges and doing the most rewarding work I could ever have wished for.”

Whether you’re launching a career in conservation or gearing up for an epic new journey, we’d love to hear from you. Tap the button below to learn more about the Corps and start your adventure!
